c1940-50s VINTAGE KIMONO. BEAUTIFUL TRADITIONAL JAPANESE GARMENT…STUNNING DETAIL. CAN ALSO BE WORN AS A MODERN DRESSING GOWN OR ROBE. See below for detailed measurements and condition notes.

Fabric: BEST GUESSTIMATE SILK EXTERIOR AND COTTON INTERIOR? Shades of Black and Gray exterior. Gorgeous bright cherry red cotton lining/interior.

CONDITION: pre-owned antique condition. Strong and wearable!
NOTABLE ISSUES: refer to last photo for details of notables. The exterior of the kimono is in great condition. On the lining, there are some notable issues: slight fading on the black silk, raw edges, some dye transfer on the red, faint spots, pinholes-Refer to the last 2 photos and zoom in for details and further descriptions of notables. Interior notable issues really do not detract from this gorgeous kimono.

*Please note: Thick Red belt pictured was purchased new, from Japan, specifically for this robe and is included. Please use caution when laundering the belt… Since the belt is new it will likely bleed when first washed. if hand washed, (should be laundered separately, and I recommend using “anti-color bleed” squares in your laundry bucket).
