1930s Antique DRESS Burgundy Velvet Drop Waist Ball Gown Peppermint Stripe 1940s S/M

Lovely True Vintage DRESS/GOWN~ estimated age is late 1930s, to early 1940s. Color is a deep true wine burgundy...skirt almost looks like peppermint! Adorable ruffled neckline embellished with delicate little bows. (Gray/silver and burgundy stripes) Unlined, very lightweight fabric, striped feels almost like acetate? And the velvet feels like a silk velvet.... but these are best guesstimates. A large cloth covered metal zip on the left side,
