1940s Vintage Dressing Gown Cotton Floral Novelty Print Wrap Waist Aline w/Lace Trim S/M

Freshly hand washed, & hand crafted. Vintage 1930-40s cotton dressing gown/peignoir/robe with petite novelty floral print. Short puffy sleeves. Full length skirt (with wrap waist) Double front pocket with ruffled lace trim. Wide portrait collar that also features sheer ruffled lace trim.

Measurements: Photographed on my size 2 dress form (& it fit well) Please refer to measurements below for best fit:
Bust: 36-37, Natural waist 26 up to 28 (with tie waist)
Bodice length 17.5, skirt length 42, Total Length: 59.5, shoulder to shoulder 15. Short sleeves

Condition: Lovely wearable condition. Has been freshly hand washed, flat dried and pressed. All hand sewn. Notable issues-The metal backed buttons are notorious for rusting after many years, which discolors the fabric. Here it has left them very yellow looking-refer to last photo for up close details...(If you prefer, I can include some vintage buttons for you if you would rather change them out-just send me a message). Some areas of faint yellowing right below the underarms-(its very faint, I wasn’t able to capture anything in my camera, but I did include a close up shot in the last photo). Perhaps a long soak would remove completely (I only gave it a wash in “Biz” to freshen up which removed most of the yellowing, I suspect further soaking would remove remainder). Refer to last photo for notable issues.
